Here you can get close to nature, even without leaving your cabin. Every morning is different, from the golden sunrises of summer to the misty mornings of autumn. The springtime gales from the south-west can lash the waters of the lake into high waves, and the frosts of winter can whiten the landscape.

On cloudless nights we are far enough from the lights of towns to enjoy the celestial splendour of the constellations, while the hooting of owls and the sounds of waterfowl break the night air.
